My name is Stephanie Molden. I am a senior at The University of Central Arkansas (UCA), located in Conway Arkansas.For the past 9 months I have been involved with a ministry at UCA called Chi Alpha. God has become more than life to me as I've met incredible people,formed friendships and most of all family within this wonderful ministry.
May 29, 2013, Chi Alpha will be taking a team of 75 people to southern Africa to spend a month serving in Zambia,South Africa, Lesotho, and Mozambique. As a ministry we have been learning about God's heart for His people near and far, the suffering of the poor and oppressed, and what we as Christians can,and should do in response. I feel God has called me to go on Project 222 so that I may experience a new level of love,humility and joy for His creations. God has showed himself faithful in my life as I've given up my purpose for His. When I think about the people of Africa and the level of adversity they face daily, passion swells within my soul thinking about how God will use me to change their lives and in turn, them changing mine.
Here is where you come in! A support team is a vital part of any missionary effort. In Romans 10, Paul is describing what it takes to reach people with the gospel when he says "how will they know unless someone tells them, how will they tell them unless they go,and how will they go unless they are sent?" The bottom line is that God has called me to go to Africa, and He has also called people to send me. I am asking you to prayerfully join my support team as I reach the mission field the Father is sending me to.
I need to raise $4,500 for travel, living and ministry expenses. In partnering with me in prayer and financial support, you become an active part in fulfilling the Great Commission.
