Mikey Jr. Neurosurgery Fund

Esteemed Circle of Sacred Family & Friends: As many of you may already know, our dear Mikey Jr ( Esteves ), Boze’s son , was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor which had caused considerable hydrocephalus ( expansion of the CSF spaces in the brain ) and secondary headaches and nausea. He had initial surgery to resect 50% of the tumor and a shunt placed to reduce the swelling in Rio, Brazil last week. He will require additional surgery and likely chemo-radiation in the US when he is stable enough to travel - hopefully in a few weeks. Because medical insurance is somewhat regional in Brazil, and Mikey Jr had to travel outside his town to Rio for pediatric neurosurgery, the expenses are not covered.
