Chris Rahubka Betraying the Martyrs Fire Recovery

Donation protected
We had a freak accident that caused a fire and burned almost the entirety of the trailer contents on the Betraying The Martyrs headliner in the US. I lost My Front of House audio rig including my beloved Midas M32, also known as Tallulah. I financed the console and had made the final payment on the third day of the tour. It was my instrument and tool to bring the best possible show every night. If you know me, you know how important it was to me. The story follows.

“Betraying The Martyrs has been forced to cancel yesterday's show in Orangevale CA as well as the rest of North American Summer “Rapture” tour after being involved in a serious auto incident after their show in Los Angeles. All crew and band members are safe. The incident happened around 4 a.m. when the trailer portion of the band's Mercedes Sprinter van caught fire. All band and crew members were able to safely to exit the vehicle with no major injuries. Tragically, all of the band's equipment was lost in the blaze. If it weren't for our driver Daniel Johnson, we wouldn't have made it out safely. This man literally ran though the fire in an attempt to salvage our belongings and to ensure our safety and well-being. “

“I’m home and I’m safe. Thanks for everyone who’s reached out to make sure I’m ok. Love you guys. I did lose all of my clothes, including things like my 10 year Sumerian, carry the flame, and rare form across the continent crew shirts. I did also lose my beloved Tallulah ( my Midas M32 console) in the fire. She was responsible for the magic in the mixes on Rareform across the Continent (ATB&TAS) the plot in you on the Erase me tour, and ATB on the collapse the world tour with KSE & Pkwy DR. I had just paid her off on the third day of this tour. She was more than a tool of my trade, she was my baby. I lost a lot as well as the wages I would’ve had made finishing the tour, so I’ll be sharing a link where you can donate to replace Tallulah later. I’ll need a replacement for her for the sick tours we have planned for later this year.Any donation will be incredibly helpful and will go towards replacing my console and personal items lost during the fire. Thank you for your help. Chris.”
