Honoring Jenn's legacy by sending Gabi to college

As Jennifer's sister, it brings me great joy to know she was able to witness the start of the next chapter in Gabi's life. My beloved niece is destined for greatness, and I am confident that she will make us all proud. Jennifer was resolute in ensuring that Gabi would graduate college without any significant debt. Sadly, ALS intervened, disrupting Jennifer's plans. As a single mother, Jennifer worked hard, to provide Gabi with a life full of happiness and opportunities. However, when ALS entered the equation, it caused a significant financial strain on their lives.

Before her passing, Jennifer assisted Gabi in applying for several scholarships, and I am thrilled to announce that Gabi has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Lou Gehrig Iron Horse Scholarship. A record 85 applicants applied for the scholarship program this year and we were told Gabi's application and story stood out to the review committee. She's been awarded $2,130 per semester for up to four years—a total of $17,040 in the lifetime of the award. Her mom must be beaming with pride.

While we are eagerly awaiting responses from a few other scholarships, we are beyond thankful for the funding Gabi has received through the Live Like Lou Foundation. I initiated this GoFundMe campaign to bridge the financial gap and provide additional support to Gabi, enabling her to achieve her goals and aspirations.
