Hi, my name is Jashonna Davis and I am 11 years old. I am in the 6th grade and attend Westborough Middle School in South San Francisco, Ca. I have an opportunity to experience two fantastic cities that are steeped with culture and history. I will see lessons learned in my classroom come alive! I will experience our nation's government in action! I will walk the footsteps of our nation's greatest leaders!

With the generous help of my family, friends, and extended social network family willing to believe and invest in my efforts to help raise the required $1,500 to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, I will not just visit Washington D.C., and New York City, I will experience them! One of my core beliefs and principles centers around the notion that a quality education is a key and critical cornerstone to success. With this said, I am proud of the South San Francisco public education thus far. Over the next few years this is a part of history she will learn in class. I am thankful for the learning exposure she is allowed to take advantage of. I believe that this will be a transformative experience that will allow her to demonstrate personal responsibilty and growth, and create memories that will last a lifetime. This is why I am so excited to share with you and engage your support in this educational opportunity.
