Fundraiser For My Brothers Funeral
Donation protected
This is my brother Javiel. He was born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey. In the summer of 2018, he was diagnosed with mental illness. As he struggled daily with depression and anxiety, he detached himself from reality, and became isolated from family and friends. Nine months ago he went missing—apparently living on the streets somewhere in Los Angeles. But on May 31, 2019, he was found dead on one its streets by a passerby. While his own suffering may have ended, we as a family now struggle with the pain of his loss, and the financial burden of transporting his remains back home to New Jersey. He also leaves behind three adorable sons: ages nine, five, and two. We are asking for everyone’s love, prayers, and financial donations, however small they may be, in order to collectively reach our goal of $17,000. This will cover the transportation of his remains from Los Angeles to New Jersey, the funeral, and the burial. We never thought we’d be in this position, but your help will enable us to give him a final goodbye, and to set him to rest in a nearby grave where we can forever honor his memory. May god's blessings rest on you and loved ones always.
