I have been accepted into the ISGAP Oxford Summer Institute for the Development of Curriculum in Critical Contemporary Antisemitism Studies, which will take place this summer at St. John's College, Oxford, UK, from July 7th to July 19th!
Through this program I will learn more about Judaism, and how to be a better advocate for Jewish people around the world. I will be studying contemporary antisemitism, an extremely timely subject, and will learn to battle it in the form of curriculum at Fisk University, a school renowned for its leadership in social justice issues.
The curriculum developed at Oxford will help fight generations of antisemitism with mountains of knowledge, love, and respect. Just like bigotry is taught, respect is taught, and this conference aims to teach it. The space for ignorance must be replaced with intelligence and empathy.
Oxford needs a poet at this conference—let me be that poet! Thank you so much.
There is a fee of $1,000 dollars to confirm registration, and I definitely need help. Of course, anything means everything. Thank you again.
