Hello,  my name is Candice Eldridge.  I am a 40 year old single mother from AZ that loves life and family/friends.  Recently,  on October 3rd,  2012,  I heard the devastating news that I have stage3b,  multiple grade 3 tumors, HER2 breast cancer.  I went for a bi-lateral mastectomy on November 6th, 2012 and will begin aggressive chemo therapy on December 3rd,  lasting 6 months to a year.  This news has hurt my family in more ways than one.  I am unable to work and continue my volunteer work,  due to this terrible diagnosis,  leaving me unable to pay my bills/medical bills.  I find a wide range of emotions dealing with this ordeal as I try to keep positive and am struggling to support my child and keep up with life demands.  it is frustrating because I have tried to apply with cancer organizations who offer assistance but have been turned down due to lack of funding.  I am a loving mother,  sister,  daughter, friend that finds joy in life and with my faith,  I will fight with everything I have in me to win this battle against breast cancer.  The money raised by kind people will go towards my medical bills,  personal bills such as rent and electric,  Christmas presents for my teen child,  money to fix my broken down car so that I may get to and from all my doctor and chemo appointments,  groceries,  and medical supplies that I need during this ordeal such as an air purifier, thermometer to check for infections,  vitamins,  medications, and  household items such as a vacuum cleaner.  The money raised will be used wisely and hopefully last through my battle as I try to get cured.  I am trying to deal with not being able to do the normal things in life that I would do,  taking care of my family being the main one.  I am emotionally drained from this,  as I cannot help others as I have,  finding myself the one in need now.  With your kind donations,  I will be able to have a peace of mind and some hope.  Most of all,  you will be giving me a second chance at life as I battle cancer.  I will never give up this fight and this disease will never change the strong woman that I am.  Please help me and my family your kind generosity will never be forgotten and will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
