Please help our murdered Mum

Donation protected
On 13 December 2017, Mum disappeared after getting into an Uber in Malaysia whilst on holiday. Her last words were a phone call to Dad saying someone is trying to kidnap her and the ransom was her passport.

Since that day, police have refused to search for Mum. They ignored the urgency of the kidnapping call. No statements were taken. No ground searches were conducted. Nothing!!!! So we the family did it all. We searched over 100,000 km around Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. Talked to over 3000 locals. Handed out and put up 13,000 posters, banners, and flyers. Spent over $360,000AUD thus far.

On 14 June 2020, we received a tip-off that mums handbag and a human bone was discovered on a million-dollar construction site. Police again refused to do anything so we flew to Malaysia. We went to the construction site and found Mum's shoe and parts of mums remains. We ended up finding 34 bones and fragments together with the National Forensic Team. It was clear after skull fragments were found and the damaged eyewear of Mum's, that she was murdered and robbed. An innocent mum, grandmother, charity worker and beautiful soul was taken violently from this world.

However, knowing all this, they stopped the search after 2 days because they did not want to find any more evidence or dig up and disturb the construction site. We were given Mum's remains to bring back to Australia in an old cardboard box they found. I had to personally pack my mother's remains into sealed bags for the final journey home as the Malaysian Authorities wouldn't assist.

We had to plead for a Coronial Inquest to be conducted. Since then, the Malaysian Police have lied, and covered up negligence and apathy, to the point Mum and our family have been accused wrongly of 32 false accusations. Each we have refuted with evidence.

What is justice in Malaysia? It doesn't exist. So many countries have similarities fo missing persons. Mum's murder will be another statistic in Malaysia's poor history of disappearances. We need to hold the Malaysian authority to account. They can't treat human life with such disrespect, ignorance and apathy. Our family has been through hell and back with so much more to come. We are desperately seeking help to keep pushing mums justice and the Justice of current and future missing persons in Malaysia, in particular, Australian citizens in a similar situation anywhere in the world.
