Courtney's diabetes is ruining her life. There's no other way to put it.  She can't feel changes in her blood sugars until it's too late.  Lack of control on her sugar levels is pushing her to the edge of sanity and health.  She is often bedridden, forcing her to give up shifts at work that would otherwise be helping her get to Edmonton.

After going to Edmonton for the application process, she's been accepted and is now on a waiting list.  Considering her blood and body types, the list is incredibly short, meaning the call could come at any time, day or night.  Once it does, she has under 12 hours to get there.  

She needs this transplant.  It has changed the lives of nearly every patient that has undergone the procedure, to the point where many of them were injection free within weeks of the transplant.  For her, it would completely change her life.  She would no longer be afraid to sleep in case her sugars drop and she would be able to begin living again.  

That's why she needs your help.  The money would go to Courtney's all the medical expenses for her pancreatic islet transplant (transportation to Edmonton and to and from transplant centre, lodging, living expenses, medication expenses, etc).
