Sarah O's Oakland Youth Orchestra Tour
Sarah has been blessed to play cello in the Oakland Youth Orchestra (OYO) this year- one of the top ensembles of its kind in Northern California. Every three years, OYO takes these young musicians on an international tour. From June 24 "“ July 4, 2013, OYO will tour Argentina and Uruguay and perform in world renowned music venues in both Colonia del Sacramento and Buenos Aires. She is raising money to participate in this important artistic and educational endeavor.
Will you consider becoming one of Sarah's sponsors? Each member of OYO is working to raise $4,000 to support their cost of the tour. These tour expenses include: hall rentals, publicity, music purchases, international transportation of large instruments, round-trip airfare, hotels, meals each day, and educational tour guides.
