Let's Give Joey a Boost

Joseph Elliott Lynch, aka Joey/JoJo/The Monkey, is going through a challenging time in his life. His financial situation, in spite of working diligently and dutifully at his full-time job, is in dire straits. While anyone who knows Joey knows he is strong enough to power through this rough stretch, if you've sat down and talked to him, you know that he is exceptionally stressed and that finding a way out of his current situation is going to take several years. In the meantime, he could use the active support of everyone in his corner. Whether we sit down to a meal with him and ask him to open up about his trials, whether we send him a note reminding him of what we appreciate about him, or whether we chip in a few bucks to help ease his way forward, if there is anything each of us is moved to do, now is the time to do it. I thought that if we each chipped in a few bucks, by Christmas we might have a little check to give him as a sign of hope and provision. Even though it will be a small gesture, my hope is that it will give him hope - plain and simple. Cheers to *you* for summoning the spirit of the season, and for reflecting back to Joey some of the generosity, warmth, and kindness he's shown to all of us.
