Help me attend a writers conference

I was one of 12 writers accepted to the Santa Barbara Author-Mentor Writer's Conference in February. Unfortunately I cannot afford the $3,800 price tag.
The reason I applied to this conference is that it is small, intimate, and attendees are able to spend a good deal of time, one-on-one, with a variety of people in the book world: Pulitzer Prize winning authors, notable agents, and editors.
I spent eight years writing my novel, The World is Bound by Secret Knots, and even managed to land a contract with a highly acclaimed literary agency in New York City. Alas, the book was never picked up for publication.
What I need is help with the overall structure of the manuscript, plot vs. story, so that I can get it as good as it possibly can be. I truly believe in this story, and I think with a little help, it will be published. This conference would go a long way in achieving that.
I am only seeking the cost of tuition.

Thank you for reading.
