Have you ever bought coffee from the guy that parks in front of 300 Park Ave S (b/w 22nd & 23rd). If you have, you know that, for $1.50, you can get a large, delicious cup of Joe, served with a smile...every time. For repeat customers, he'll remember your order and have it waiting for you by the time you're at the front of the line. His name is Peter and he lost everything during Sandy, his home, his car, etc. We called and talked to him about ways we could help and he insisted he didn't need the money, but added that his community in Staten Island is still reeling. Money raised here will be given to Peter and distributed to his neighbors. Please give. We want our coffee guy (and his neighbors) back on their feet.
