People to People European Odyssey Trip

My daughter Mercedes Overturf is honored to be invited as a Student Ambassador on a European Odyssey Trip through the People to People Program.  

This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent her school and community, while traveling all over Europe learning different cultures and providing community service. This trip also provides her with high school credits and not to mention will look great on her college applications as a world traveler!

This is a 20 day trip and she will be visiting the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre in Paris, ride in a gondola under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, visit the Colosseum in Rome, Visit the Acropolis and rappel down a Medieval Castle wall in Greece, spend time with host families from different countries, visit the site of the first Olympic Games, and much much more.

As you can imagine the cost of European Travel is not cheap and she is in need of all the help she can get to succeed. She needs to fund raise $8,000 by May 1, 2013. That amount may sound very overwhelming right now, but every $1 counts towards her goal.  She will be doing several fundraisers over the next several months and is asking for your support.
