Hillari & Travis Wilson Donation
10/20/12 From Hillari.....Well I just woke up Friday thinking I slept on my right leg wrong. Then by that night I thought I might have the flu because both legs were achy. The next couple days I was in the ER in Twin Falls and in excruciating pain. I was sent home twice with painkillers and now unable to walk. On Monday I went to the DR, in a wheelchair, and he immeditatey sent me back to ER needing an MRI. On the MRI they noticed some abnormalties in my brain stem. Monday night, I was transported by life Flight to U of Utah and here I am. With 2 more MRI's under my belt they still consider me a question mark, but are working very hard to find out how to treat me.
I have been on Steroid treatments to see if that will work.
10/30/12 Well the steroid treatments are not working so tomorrow I will be fitted with a new device in my kneck to receive plasma. Still no movement, but I'm trying to stay positive. Having my amazing husband and family by myside has helped a lot. Seeing these beautiful words you have written is so helpful to. Thank you so much!! I have a long road ahead, but I'm definetely ready.
11/16/12 Well the Plazmzapherisis didn't help much either and they finished a 21 day treatment of an Anti-Viral medication and they are still considering me "Un-Diagnosed". They are planning on discharging me on or before December 7th. Alot of my feeling and sensation is returning and I can move my left leg some, I am still unable to use my right leg or walk.
They will discharge me even if I am not fully recovered and will have to continue to heal and do Rehab back home in Twin Falls. They are thinking it will be a few months before I can possibly return to normal function. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends and my Kiddos and my Hubby. Any help would be appreciated, we know the hospital bills alone with be costly let alone the Rehab and supplies I will need back home and all the tests I have had to have done. Thank You.
