Trip of a lifetime for The Taylor Family
Half a tank of gas - that's all we need
I've spoken with Guy Fieri's team and Guy would love to meet Ryan! If we can get the family to northern California, they will spend a morning with Guy in one of his restaurants, watching him prepare a meal and then enjoying that meal with Guy. Since they will be heading to California, we're going to send them to Disneyland, too! Disneyland has recreated Radiator Springs from Cars. Jill thinks the boys will lose their minds over that. :)
We need to cover the costs for:
- Flights for five people from:
----- Kansas City to Los Angeles
----- Los Angeles to San Francisco
----- San Francisco to Kansas City
- Ground transportation to Disneyland and back to LAX
- Disneyland package for five including:
----- 4 nights at the Disneyland Hotel
----- Disneyland admission for three days
----- Park meal plan for three days
- Car rental plus fuel in San Francisco for the drive to see Guy Fieri at his restaurant in Santa Rosa
- 2 hotel nights in northern California
- Additional meals for five people for four days
- Gratuities
What will this trip mean for The Taylor Family?
In Ryan's words:
A trip to Disneyland and to meet Guy Fieri will mean more to me and my family than you will ever know. This will be a trip that we will always be able to look back on, memories that will last forever, especially for my boys. They are amazing. They have been through a lot over the last few years and they always help us out. I couldn't ask for more from them. We haven't ever been able to take them on a big trip and I know this will mean a lot to me. The thing I am looking forward to the most is seeing their happy faces and knowing that this is something they will always remember. There is a chance that this could be the last family trip we are able to take. Knowing that the boys will always be able to think about this trip and remember the fun we will have means a lot to me.
