Costa Rica Mission Trip

This April, Anna has an opportunity to go on a Mission Trip to Costa Rica with her 7th grade class from Portsmouth Christian Academy. Costa Rica is a safe and beautiful country that is an ideal place for a young traveler to "get their feet wet" with a cross-cultural experience with a multilingual population. Since Anna was in Kindergarden, she has talked about going on this Mission trip to Costa Rica. On this journey, Anna will model the love of Jesus by engaging in the acts of service for others. And anyone who knows Anna, knows that her service for others has always gone above and beyond. Every year, Anna takes her own money and purchases food for local food banks and for local animal shelters. As a young child, Anna often would make us purchase coffees for the homeless or buy them a meal. Anna has always thought about others, often donating her time and money to help those that are in need. This Mission will also allow Anna to stretch and grow as she is faced with new challenges and develops a new confidence and builds leadership skills that she will reflect upon through out her life. She will test her courage and her muscles in adventure, as she develops a deeper relationship with God and strengthens her Spiritual gifts through her service and daily devotions. Please consider making a donation to Anna, to allow her to be able to spread the word of Jesus, to model after his teachings and to experience acts of service that come so naturally to her. Your donation will help to fund Anna to travel to Costa Rica for 10 days, it will help to cover the cost of airfare, accommodations, meals, and travel expenses once in the country. Anna continues to be a high honor student, who I feel one day will give to others some great gift. Please help her to start her journey.
