We All Sing Hallelujah

“We All Sing Hallelujah” is a performance project involving school and community-based choirs in Los Angeles. Based on Handel’s oratorio, “The Messiah”, “We All Sing Hallelujah” uses the idiom of gospel music to interpret Handel’s masterpiece and re-imagines the sacred text as a secular call for inclusiveness and unity.  Performed by community choirs from Leimert Park, Inglewood and the East LA Performing Arts HS Choir, we will stage “We All Sing Hallelujah” at Torres High School in Boyle Heights, the Watts Senior Center and at Friendship Auditorium in Silver Lake. Giving Music, a 501c3 nonprofit, is the producing organization and all donations are tax deductible.
