Seize the Day

An update on Austin: 

Austin had his surgery last October. The family went home with 
great hopes that Austin's seizures would not return and that they
would be able to resume a normal lifestyle. Unfortunately, that was 
not to be. After a short time the seizures returned. The doctors 
determined that Austin would need more surgery. So Sarah and
Austin returned to The Florida Hospital for Children on Monday, 
April 29th to begin the long process again. Austin's first surgery
is scheduled for Monday, May 6th followed by a second surgery on
Friday, May 10th. This round of surgery is more invasive than the 
first and the potential effects are more dramatic. Despite the 
fear of all the unknowns - the doctors believe this surgery is 
necessary. Now more than ever the Banks Family need our love,
prayer, and support. The expenses related to this second round of 
surgeries are tremendous. If you are able to donate any amount it 
would be greatly appreciated.

Austin has been fighting Epilepsy since he was 6 months old and was recently diagnosed with Focal Cortical Dysplsia, a intractable and unmanagable form of Epilepsy. Austin's only chance at a seizure free life is brain surgery. He is undergoing his first of 2 surgeries at The Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida. Every little bit will help Austin fight this disease with his whole family by his side. Thank you in advance.
