Reuben Needs A Kidney

Reuben has been on dialysis, for going on 5 years. This man is my everything. We met in the 8th grade, he was 13, I was 12, it's not happily ever after. But it has been in sickness and health and for richer and poorer. We can't even begin to tell you the mounds and mounds of medical debt that we are in and what a struggle our day to day life is. So when they explained that even with co-pays that he would need about 17 anti-rejection medicines after the transplant at a cost of about $10,000 for the first 3 months we were shocked. We also have to live down the hill near Loma Linda after the transplant. We have been on Go Fund Me for a year and have not quite reached half our goal. But we are darned close. We have had a really big scare with him getting pneumonia and the truth is that he will NOT get better without a kidney transplant.
