15 yr old biking 252miles to help dogs & veterans!

Help Matt on his mission to raise money to aid Dogs and Veterans in need !

Matt (15) is going to be biking 252 miles over 14 days, he will be biking 18 miles a day no matter the weather to raise money for a puppy play park and kennel block at the Rescue Faces Of Hope Sanctuary in Bulgaria. 10 out of the 14 days bike rides will be conducted after school and he completed his first 18 miles today!

The puppy play park and kennels will be used to rehabilitate and socialise puppies and dogs who haven’t had the best start in life. Not only that but it will also be used as an area to educate the youth and local communities of Bulgaria about animal welfare and help educate people on the many wonders dogs bring to our lives. It will also serve as an area of interaction between puppies, dogs and UK veterans/retired police officers who visit the sanctuary on their veteran/retired police officer retreat programs, which are designed to help those individuals in need of help or just a much needed distraction from their daily lives. 

Matt sees on a daily basis the joy and happiness dogs can bring to our lives and has witnessed first hand the abuse and suffering many dogs face all over Bulgaria. The thought of being able to help countless dogs and people in need has inspired him to take up this challenge with the selfless aim of making a difference.
