Jenny's Cancer Fund

I've set up this website for Jenny....here's her story.  For those of you who don't know her, Jenny is a dear friend and former employee of Katie's Salon.  In the midst of caring for her mother, who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine Cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment, Jenny has begun a journey of her own.  At a routine check up, Jenny's doctors found a large tumor in her stomach area, along with some ovarian cysts.  At that time, they decided to do a full hysterectomy and remove the cysts and tumor.  The doctors determined, during surgery, Jenny has Ovarian Cancer AND Uterine Cancer.  The doctor is describing the cancer as "very rare" and is getting with doctors globally to determine a treatment plan.  Jenny is currently separated and living on her own.  Her health insurance is due to cancel within a week.  She is not able to work and is the sole provider for herself.  Her spirit and energy are amazing!  For those who know her, you know she's THE person who lights up any room she is in, always smiling and always laughing!  With all of this news, she still remains optimistic and comical.  Jenny is beginning a difficult journey and will need all of us to come together to help her fight this awful disease.  Her financial struggle for medications, doctors and daily living expenses, on little to no income, will undoubtedly be a huge obstacle in her recovery.  Any help we can provide for her will be such a blessing!
