Hi I'm Carleigh!
A dream came true, and I've been invited to dance at The Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow! I've been dancing with the Bolshoi teachers at their summer intensives for the past three summers, and never thought that one day I'd be dancing at the academy in Russia. Not many dancers are given a chance like this to improve their ballet technique with such fine teachers. I've worked extremely hard to make this dream of becoming a ballerina a possibility.
This is an amazing honor for me and my parents would really love for me to be able to take full advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. I'd hate for them to have to bear the responsibility of this financial commitment alone. It will cost 1300 euros per month which is approximately $1,630. I'm planning on staying from October to the end of December. My travel and tuition costs will be approximately $6,000 for the three months that I am away.
