Friday December 20, 2019 catastrophic weather conditions brought devastating fires to the Adelaide Hills, leaving 72 homes lost. ABC News, Dec 22nd:
" The number of homes destroyed in the Cudlee Creek bushfire in the Adelaide Hills has shot up to 72."

The Cudlee Creek fire broke out in catastrophic conditions in the Adelaide Hills on Friday
It has destroyed 72 homes and 25,000 hectares across the area.
It has also been confirmed that 404 "outbuildings" on properties and 227 vehicles have been destroyed.
The emergency services have done miraclulous work saving so many homes and properties but now its time for the community to rally to support those facing clean up and grief. No doubt insurance will cover some losses but this is about showing support, love, kindness and community spirit especially just before Christmas. Each person's loss is significant; pets, memories, homes, irreplaceable things.
The amount is modest and aimed at gifting those who need it most something to get them through this Christmas season.
