Kairi Toll Cancer Fund
If you are one of the lucky people to know Kairi Toll, then you know she is a blessing to have in your life. If you don't know Kairi, please take the time to read this to get to know her.
Kairi has an upbeat personality that is sure to brighten your day. Her love for God is strong and shines even during the darkest times. If you know Kairi, you also know she has struggled her entire life through multiple health issues. She is nothing short of a miracle! Through all the years of "You Won't Able to" and "You Can't", nothing has stopped her from reaching for her dreams!
Over the last few years, I have had the pleasure of watching
Kairi blossom into a beautiful and strong woman. She worked long and hard shifts to pay her
way through college. Though she loved
living in Silver City, New Mexico, the altitude was too hard on her heart so
she had to take another leap of faith.
On her own, she journeyed to Mesa, Arizona. She struggled to find work, but she did. She didn't have a car, so she rode the bus.
She needed friends, so she found a church.
She climbed the mountains that were ahead of her with courage and
positivity. When the job she had didn't
work out and her living arrangements fell through, she moved! She took every crazy hand she was dealt and
looked at it as an exciting play she could make.
Kairi is now in the North Valley where for the last year and
a half she has found her independence.
She lives in her own apartment, works at a fantastic company that not
only supports her but is also filled
with what I like to call, "God's Angels", and has a beautiful cat to keep her company.
Unfortunately, a curve-ball was thrown into Kairi's
life. Just within a few months of
finding out her father was diagnosed with cancer, Kairi too found out she had
cancer. Kairi is currently in stage three liver cancer. She is beginning chemo-therapy to rid her
body of the disgusting illness. Not only
does cancer come with a huge emotional and physical toll, it also comes with a
very large bill. Medical bills are accumulating
amongst her other monthly living expenses, totaling to over a few thousand
dollars per month . Because she is so
sick, the doctors will not release her to go back to work. She has a very long journey ahead of
her. Kairi is in a fight to find the
money to pay her bills, a fight to keep a roof over her head and most
importantly, a fight to stay alive.
Kairi's light is still shining bright.
Though she has some really low days, she still lifts others up around
her.
We cannot make Kairi better. We
cannot change the battle she must fight.
But we can help pay her bills. We
can help to ensure she has a safe place to live, where she can find comfort
during these times. So,
please, I ask you to give what you can.
Pray and ask God what you should give.
Deuteronomy 16:17
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD
your God which He has given you.
