123 Pleasant Street Covid-19 Relief Fund
Donation protected
123 Pleasant Street has been Morgantown's home for original live entertainment since 1998, and in 21 years we have only had our doors closed to the community one previous time. The recent Covid-19 outbreak has crippled the live music industry and we still remain as one of the biggest uncertainties when it comes to getting back to business. Our entire staff has been out of work since March 12th and the venue is racking up bills like ASCAP, which is an expense most businesses do not have. The phased plans of reopening with limited capacity will create a slow process for us to operate on full staff. with live entertainment We now are needling help from our patrons to help continue to offer 123 as a place for the community to join together. Sunday June 7th we are a hosting the 123 Pleasant Streamathon to raise funds to offer some relief to help our staff and venue see the other side of this pandemic. 123 Pleasant Streamathon will be live on our Facebook + Youtube pages from 1pm-10pm and will feature live sets from the venue performed by bands from within the local music community. This event is online only and will be closed to the public. Venue Tips+Donations will benefit 123, but there will also be options to directly support the artists involved. Thank you to the community for keeping our doors open for 2 decades and we can't wait to open them back up for all of you!! - ❤️123 Pleasant Street Staff
