Die Schülerinnen und Schüler der kommenden 11. Klasse der Waldorfschule Bremen-Osterholz wollen 2019 einen deutsch-russischen Schüleraustausch durchführen. Sie werden im Sommer nach Kirow / Russland reisen und kurz danach erfolgt im Herbst der Gegenbesuch der russischen Jugendlichen in Bremen. Die teilnehmenden Schüler und Lehrer werden jeweils privat in Familien unterkommen.

Die Finanzierung dieses Projektes stellt eine große Herausforderung für uns dar, der sich die Schülerinnen und Schüler sowie die Elternschaft mit viel Engagement stellen. Dennoch sind wir auf zusätzliche finanzielle Unterstützung angewiesen, denn die Kosten sind deutlich höher als bei „normalen“ Klassenfahrten. Es ist uns ein großes Anliegen, den bereits seit 2004 bestehenden Austausch fortzusetzen und durch das Knüpfen zwischenmenschlicher Kontakte und das Kennenlernen der fremden Kultur ein Stück Friedensarbeit zu leisten.

Im Rahmen dieses Austausches ist ein professionell begleitetes, bilinguales Theaterprojekt mit Tanz und Musik geplant, um die interkulturelle Begegnung der Jugendlichen zu intensivieren. Das Thema, um das herum sich das Projekt entwickeln wird, ist Goethes „ Faust“.

Gut zusammengewachsen in Sprache, Tanz und Musik wird sich die neu entstandene Gruppe der großen Aufgabe einer öffentlichen Aufführung stellen. Das gemeinsam entwickelte Theaterstück wird sowohl in Kirow / Russland als auch in Bremen aufgeführt.

English:  The upcoming 11th class students at the Waldorf School in Bremen-Osterholz Germany will be carrying out a German-Russan co-op exchange project in September 2019. The class will travel to Kirow/Russia in September and shortly there after the Students from Kirow will return the visit to Bremen. The participating students and teachers will be accommodated privately in families.

As that the costs of class exchanges are much higher than that of traditional school trips the financing of this project represents a great challenge for the Stundents. The Bremen class will not only be financing their own costs to Russia but also supporting the return costs of their Russian counterparts. There for any addtional support is greatly appreciated and why we are expanding our donation sources to include Go Fund Me.

It is important for the class to point out that the "Go Fund Me" donation goal is lower than the total cost of the trip and is only meant to be addital source of donations support. The class are working hard and have already raised some funds locally by:  performing private garden work (cutting grass / wracking leaves etc.), walking dogs, babysitting, and bagging groceries at a local store over the Holiday Season.

Part of the project experience is fund rasing and the students of the Bremen class are very committed to fulfilling their obligation for the trip.  It is very important for them to continue the exchange that has existed since 2004 and advance their interpersonal experience and contacts while getting to know the foreign cultures.

In order to intensify the intercultural encounter of the two groups  a bilingual theatre project which includes dance and music will be an additional part of the exchange project. The theme around which the project will be develop is Goethe's "Faust". 

Well-grown together in language, dance and music, the newly formed group will face the great task of performing publicly. The jointly developed play will be performed in Kirow/Russia as well as in Bremen/Germany.
