10-13 for Noah (Sgt Diaz son)
Donation protected
At some point in our careers, we've all attended a 10-13 for either a fallen officer or an officer in need of assistance. Today, I am requesting a 10-13 for the child of one our own Sergeants; Noah Diaz, is the son of Sergeant Joseph Diaz.
From the time of birth, Noah was diagnosed with a rare heart condition known as Kubuki Syndrome, which is an illness that causes deformities in major organs. He was born with a hypo-plastic left heart which equates to half of a heart and also has a Double Aortic Arch.
Currently, Sgt Diaz and his family are crossing a road that no family should ever encounter, the possibility of a heart transplant and having him hospitalized until a donor becomes available, which is every fathers worst nightmare.
I can assure you that Noah is a young child that is brave and full of life and deserves nothing but the best. It goes without saying that the medical expenses for a police officer are beyond what a "cop" can afford.
Any type of donation, no matter how small, can help with these medical burdens.
