100 Miles for Veterans and First Responders

Donation protected
Family, Friends, Warriors, and Patriots,

With the Navy SEAL Hudson River swim just around the corner, I’m proud to announce my partnership on behalf of my friend and veteran, Rob Sweetman and his nonprofit organization called 62Romeo. (https://www.62romeo.org/)

62Romeo is a sleep program designed to help veterans and first responders who have suffered severe trauma with much-needed sleep support.

Sleep is tied to mental health, physical well-being, and overall success in life. Way too often and especially for someone who has suffered trauma turn to alcohol, sleeping pills, and other drugs. Already in a vulnerable mental state and on top of substance abuse and sleep deprivation, quickly can lead towards a dark path and sadly suicides continue to happen.

My goal is to help change the statistics and my next mission will be on April 15th at Zion National Park. I’m going to step outside my comfort zone and run 100 miles while dedicating each 5-mile leg to a veteran or first responder who has succumbed to the invisible wounds of war and trauma with 22 pushups.

Zion has a reputation for being a notoriously difficult course, but it doesn’t compare to what the members of our military and first responders go through daily. No matter how big or small, every donation counts and will support Rob’s all-natural 6-week program rebuilding sleep restoration which increases mental health, and ultimately save lives.

Thank you all for your constant support and thank you to those who continue to put themselves on the line. I greatly look forward to this journey while working on behalf of Rob and 62Romeo.
