100 mile home bike ride

My wife Carol who is a big animal lover started a charity 2 years ago, Animal friends Of
Turkey (AFOT).  Carol will be 60 on the 13th May and the plans I had for her special day can no longer go ahead, what do you do to celebrate such an milestone, something that can be remembered, something that means something, it's not easy in a lockdown!

 So I’ve decided to do a sponsored 100 mile bike ride on my exercise  bike at home the day
before her big day .  I’m asking all my friends and business’s out there to help me by sponsoring me and making a donation to Carols special Charity AFOT.    This will be ‘challenging’ at 62 myself, I’m no spring chicken! but  I’m so proud of what Carol  has achieved in the two
years, she has worked tirelessly with determination and put her heart and soul into it,  
rescuing over 100 animals, many of which are in fantastic homes here in the UK.   I know
this will mean a lot to Carol as like all charities AFOT is suffering in the current Covid-19
situation and I can’t think of anything else she would want more for her 60th birthday than to help more animals.

AFOT is a registered charity that rescues abused, abandoned and street animals from the
SW of Turkey who have little or no future.  Foster homes are found for them in Turkey
whilst the right homes are found for them in the UK through people applying to adopt them before they travel over.
