Tibet's experience of colonialism  must serve as a lesson for Africa. When troops of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China invaded Tibet in 1949/1950. Tibet was an independent state like many African States. The military takeover of Tibet constitutes an aggression against a sovereign state, and a violation of international law. The continual illegal occupation of Tibet by a dark hand alongside the experience of cultural genocide remains an imperial design.
This dark hand is now everywhere in Africa, practicing illegal artisan mining, wildlife trafficking, trade immorality, corrupting politicians etc.
The presence of this dark hand in Africa is cynically packaged in the subtlety of Soft-Power win-win economic strategy which identifies major needs in individual African states. These needs are not new. They are basic edifices which look good for the optics, but in essence, there is no transfer of technological know-how from China to Africa in order to empower Africa states to be self-reliant. Because the one empire strategy is to create dependence of any nature.
While this dark hand maintains its illegal occupation of Tibet, it remains a threat to the sovereignty of Taiwan, an abattoir for Uyghurs of East Turkestan, a chaos for Hong Kong, and a knee on the neck of African States who can’t breathe
because of China's “debt trap”.
This documentary film is intended to engage citizens for critical consciousness, and a political unifier for the last frontier that is eaten alive. We need to create impactful awareness in Africa in terms of the danger of a dark hand in various communities in Africa. It will be targeted to the average African citizen but of interest to all progressive thinkers (both the currently oppressed, formerly oppressed and all liberal individuals of good will and morality.
Please support us to raise USD$ 25,000 to cover the cost of pre-production and some production, including screenwriting, identification of key interviewees, and travel to carry out interviews. Any additional money raised will go towards  continued production and post-production.
