'Method' Short Film

We are a group of film students, and for our final project we are looking to make this 10-15 mins short film. 

Method is the story of a struggling theatre actor Jack, who gets offered the starring role as a serial killer in a new play called “Chosen by me”. This is Jack’s chance of a lifetime to finally be recognised for his work, but with increasing pressure being placed on him by the Director of the play, Jack decides to method act the character. This leads Jack into a spiral decent into madness to nail the role, losing his humanity along the way.
How far would you go for the role of a lifetime?

We were given this script and instantly fell in love with it and it’s mystery and suspense. All of the funds will go towards making this film, from hiring filming equipment, paying actors, props and costumes and other essentials in film making. We plan to shoot this in March 2020. Once we make this film we plan to release it online on sites like Youtube and Vimeo, and send it to film festivals.
