Ezekiel Frankel College Trust
Donation protected
Last week, one of my best and oldest friends lost his battle with mental illness and decided to take his own life.
The one thing in life that meant the most to Tommy was his son Ezekiel (Zeke) Frankel. Through him, Tommy's life found purpose, joy, and hope. He had dreams of building a school bus camper to take his son on camping trips and recently told me he was trying to get in better shape simply to be able to keep up with the boundless energy of Zeke.
Through this tragedy, my first thought was how I could honor the friend I knew and the best way I know how to do that is by trying to help care for what he loved the most, his son. I was not alone in this thinking and with the help of his family, a trust has been set up at US Bank in Rochester for Zeke to be available to him when he turns 18 to help with college. If Zeke decides to take a different path (Tommy was well known for his penchant to go his own way) and he does not decide to go to college, the funds will be available to him when he turns 30. The funds will only be accessible to Zeke.
Please consider donating if you are able and please share and pass this message along to others.
