Extended unexpected recovery

This is not the way that I wanted to share my weight loss experience but I am sharing this because I have no other choice at this point. I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy on May 13th 2019 after months of prep, months of preparing to better my life and my health and things have gone in a different direction. I have now been hospitalized due to malnutrition, dehydration and a twist in my stomach causing me not to be able to get any food or water down. Anyone who knows me knows that I work very hard nannying two beautiful small children and I’ve even put my own health to the side longer than I should have to keep going to work to care for them and to take care of the monthly bills that I have to pay. I have never asked friends or family for this kind of help but the world outside of this hospital room is still moving and I can not provide for myself. I am giving up a lot of pride to even ask for this kind of help but I don’t want to be on disability, I want to get back to work as soon as I can and get back to being healthy. I have now been at the hospital for 4 days and I am awaiting a feeding tube procedure that will be done later this afternoon, Myself or my family will update as we can. Thank you to all of my family and friends, I wouldn’t be able to get through this without you.
