Only a few people know, I've kept it very quiet. I have been fighting stage 4 Melanoma for the last 2 1/2 years. I'm sorry to those I didn't tell, I really don't want anyone worrying about me. I have become a recluse and pretty much stayed out of public life. Many friends I haven't seen or talked too in the last few years. Life for most people is hard enough, I didn't want to add to anyone's troubles. To almost everyone I know, I am sorry I haven't shared this with you.
This particular type of cancer spreads very fast, its very aggressive, and most people diagnosed with it lose the battle with in a few months once it reaches stage 4. I have been very blessed to have been able to fight it off so long. Prayer and faith in god is my number 1 treatment.
So I have been fighting this with a lot of natural items, including a rife machine, essential oils, curcumin, Vitimin D3, Garlic, CBD oil, Rick Simpson THC oil, meditation, prayer, and many other things. With these natural treatments, I managed to keep it from spreading and growing for two years, but was not beating it. Just keeping it stable.
Last year, I started immunotherapy. A treatment that wasn't available until very recently. I have been going for treatments in Fayetteville every two weeks, I was taking Yervoy and Opdivo. Both of which have a large number of horrible side effects. Ive lost over 80lbs, my facial hair, body hair, eyebrows, beard, mustache... all turned WHITE. I have serious troubles eating due to stomach cramps and nausea. My Immune system is in over drive from these drugs and attacks everything including healthy cells. I've had vision issues, temp blindness, skin rashes, numbness, brain fog, extreme pain, etc. The first two months, I had 8 spots disappear, and several tumors shrink drastically. Two tumors in my brain disappeared completely. So the side effects were worth it. After a few months, Even with all of this, my tumors started growing rapidly, and and my cancer has become resistant to the treatments. So due to this, my oncologist took me off the treatments saying there was no point in making me sicker. These treatments were running over $100k per month :( Luckily I only had to cover 10% of that, and the oncologist department deducted some more to help me out.
I am back to prayer and natural treatments. I had better response from that anyway. The issue is this journey has wiped out our savings, plus we were renovating our house, and had to take the money from that project so our house is in a permanent state of renovation. Due to being so sick, my work schedule has suffered and I've lost about 40% of my income. Then had to hire additional help to take up my slack costing even more. All in all, I did NOT WANT to ask for help in any way. the time has come that I feel I have too. The natural treatments I am taking are costing about $2,500. per month and I just can not keep that up. Its been 2 1/2 years, and just over $150k out of pocket that insurance does not cover. Its been an extreme struggle. I have a few family members that have come to my rescue many times thankfully. A true God Send. They can not keep it up, and I cant ask them too. They have their own issues to deal with.
That said, I would like to ask a few things, If you can do one, two or all three items below, I would greatly appreciate it!

2. If you feel in your heart a dollar amount to donate, the appreciation is beyond what words could ever explain. Every dollar will help and be extremely appreciated. Please do not donate anything that will harm you in any way. I don't want to be responsible for any ones electric being shut off or not having enough food. I desperately need the help, but NOT at any ones expense.
3. Please say a daily prayer for me for Gods healing, guidance, and blessings.
I feel in my heart that God will guide me to healing.
He is not through with me on this earth yet, and I have a lot to accomplish still. I have so many things I want to do to help others.
