Expense Fund for Rachael Smith

Rachael and her husband, Joe, were involved in a motorcycle accident. Rachael walked away from the scene with minor physical injuries...but Joe was immediately lifelined to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he is in a coma and not expected to survive.

Rachael had been back to work only one day when the accident happened, following the tragic death of her little brother, Garrett, last year. She has spent the last 15 months trying to heal emotionally and mentally from the tragedy of her brother being killed, to now have to endure the inevitable passing of her husband.

Joe was an electrician and an amazing provider for himself and Rachael. His passing will leave her with significant medical bills, house bills, and day to day funds until she is both physically and emotionally ready to return to work.

I just can’t believe this happened to our Joe, my Josephina Rowina as I call him. Garrett was Garrita Lynn. I always teased them with loving names. I love you Joe..more than a son in law to me..he’s been like a son, even more so since Garrett was killed. You are a part of my heart. I’m stunned right now.
