Natacha Petit

Natacha Petit is a single mom with two great kids who are patients in our practice. Last November she was diagnosed with stage 4 Gall Bladder Cancer. It started with stomach pains and her eyes turning yellow. Her doctor discovered that her liver had a blockage so they had to put a stent in. They also found a cancerous tumor next to her gall bladder and pancreas. A mass in her lymph nodes on her chest meant it had already spread and is aggressive. She is being treated at Sloan Kettering, and sadly she has a poor prognosis. Natacha is a hair stylist, and if she doesn’t work she doesn’t get paid. She also takes care of her 12 year old daughter, her 13 year old son, and her elderly mother that had just recently had heart surgery. She has a lot of bills that still have to be paid, a mortgage, electric, gas, and water are just to name a few. Dealing with cancer is overwhelming enough, add to it the intense pressure of being the sole provider for two amazing kids and an aging parent, it is nearly impossible to imagine the strain she is under. She does this all alone while undergoing chemotherapy, suffering from all the horrible side effects, as well as chronic pain and fatigue. Natacha does it all with a smile on her face. She has given this fight to God to help her win this battle. She knows through him anything is possible. She believes she is here to be a true testimony of how he can heal her when you give it all to him, but she still needs help.
