Christ the Servant Catholic Church

A portion of our ceiling has fallen in! After four straight days of heavy rain and flooding the roof at Christ the Servant began to leak. As the rain became heavier the leak got worse. Some of our people got on the roof to try to cover the area near the leak, but lightening forced us to get everyone off the roof. Now a significant portion of the ceiling has fallen in. We were sheltering some homeless folks from the rain, but we had to send them to other places after the ceiling fell in. We have insurance which we hope will cover most of the cost, however we lack the $2500 deductable  for the repair We hope to raise money to begin repairs as soon as the insurance company agrees to make payment. We are an inner city, multi-racial parish.  Many of our people are low income workers who are unable to pay for this unexpected problem.  We will be very grateful for whatever help you might be able to give us.
