Everything lost to fire

My brother (Russ) and his wife (Donna) were at a wedding when, without their knowledge, they were losing their home, pets and belongings to an electrically caused fire.  This was the culmination of quite a year for them both.  Russ has dealt with loss of work due to stage 4-5 kidney failure, a quadruple bipass, dialysis and now a new kidney with bladder complications.  Donna deals with COPD and is constantly in and out of the hospital.  They lost all but a few dishes and one dog in the fire. To add "insult to injury", a couple of nights after the fire looters broke the hinges off the locked door of their out building and stole all of Russ' power tools. 
   Their house was an 1800's church refurbished into a home with a wood burning furnace, which made the home uninsurable. (The furnace still stands!)   Because of medical,  additional living expenses and loss of work due to medical issues, they are unable to even think about purchasing a mobile home to put on their country lot.  Friends and family have been wonderful by graciously donating clothing and a small apartment to tide them over until more permanent living quarters can be established.
      It is my hope to raise enough money for them  to purchase a mobile home to place on the lot and cover the expenses necessary to bulldoze, slow burn and bury what is left of the house.  They cannot afford new appliances or the cost of reconnecting utilities.
     I feel it is the least I can do to help Russ and Donna start the New Year off on a new note.  I am asking for any amount that you feel you can donate, as anything is more than they presently have.  These 2 beautiful folks still will do anything for anyone and, what touches me most about them both is that I have not heard them complain ONCE about their disaster.  They deserve a new start.  Thank you for any donation you find it possible to give.
