Every Child is Our Child

Every child is our child – at UAFA our goal is to give every child an opportunity in life, regardless of poverty, disability or location.  We find the most underprivileged and build health, education and social services to help them and their families to grow.  We already do this in 17 regions of Azerbaijan, reaching 1000s each year.  We want to reach more and we don’t want our services to fail because of lack of funding. 

Ivanovka Guesthouse started out as a plot of derelict land with an old fashioned Russian style house.  Now, after nine years, it is an internationally well known and well respected guesthouse which features in TripAdvisor , Lonely Planet and various other travel guides. 

UAFA plans to run the guesthouse as a ‘social enterprise’ so that the income generated supports UAFA’s extensive services across Azerbaijan for underprivileged children and families.  The guesthouse will also act as a ‘respite’ home for children with special needs and their families during quiet times.

This business will be owned and managed by UAFA to continue its existing guest services and to provide respite care services.

We need to raise £97,000 to invest in this project.  The funds will cover the cost of a two bedroom main house, 5 chalets, campsite, private and guest kitchen, outdoor facilities and large vegetable gardens.  Plus a view of the Lower Caucasus mountains to inspire all.
