We were able to help dozens of families affected by the flood in my hometown, I was overwhelmed with all the support and positive messages we got It meant a lot to me.

Dear Friends,
As you might know this month my lovely hometown São Caetano do Sul in São Paulo, Brazil, was affected by a strong flood like it was never seen before.
Many people from my neighbourhood, childhood friends and family members were caught by surprise by the water invading their house in the middle of the night. The force of the water was so strong that cars parked on the street were washed away for many meters by the water.
The water also didn´t come alone and after 10 hours of over 2 meters of water inside the houses of my neighbourhood, the water left a lot of dirt and mud everywhere, making almost impossible for my neighbours and family members to save their belongings.
The most vulnerable people were helped by their neighbours and could save themselves, unfortunately one member of my neighbourhood was caught by the water and couldn´t resist.
The City Hall of my hometown is slow on take actions to help the people in need. Some people lost their cars, furniture and food, and some people lost everything they possessed, everything.
The people from my city and around who were not affected are helping as much as they can donating drinkable water, food, clothes, cleaning materials, etc.
And I´d like to ask you my friends, that if you also would like to help those in need I´m organizing an electronic Fundraising, and all the collected money will be donated to the families affected by the floods in my neighbourhood.
