Joanna's Urgent Request

Hello, my name is Joanna and I need your help urgently.

I am a 35 year old wife and mother of two. Samantha is five and Isabella is nine.

I have an incurable illness called Huntington Disease. It is a neurological brain disease that is destroying my cognitive, mental and physical body.

It is causing great financial hardship to my family because of the extra costs associated with keeping me safe at home with my family.

I was diagnosed 7 years ago. Life expectancy is approximetly 10 - 20 years from onset. I was aware of my HD a few years before diagnoses. My HD worsens each day, with memory and physical changes happening that will soon stop me from being able to walk on my own or take care of myself or my children.

With your financial help, we can renovate our family home so I can remain living at home for as long as possible and watch my children grow and thive.

Renovations to a bathroom, ramps and stair lifts are costly as well as many other costly equipment not covered by our medical system.
