Ethyl's Vet Bills
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Glenn. I have a 2 year old rescue Schnauzer named Ethyl. On June 7, 2019 I took Ethyl to the emergency vet as I noticed an abnormal mass on her neck. They admitted her in and ran some tests which revealed she had two large abscesses growing on her neck. They proceeded to keep her overnight and began the treatment of draining them out. The next day the hospital discharged her and told me that they would need to continue treatment and have the fluid sent over to labs in order to see if it is cancerous. These tests are not cheap and they are running me up to $200 a piece and treatment is around $1,055 a round. I've already paid $1,691 for her first treatment and expect to pay the same for continued treatment. I am really hoping that the abscess is benign but I won't be able to find out until the vet runs the tests. Vets are certainly not cheap and working part time is not necessarily easy on me financially. I can't explain how much this means to me. I am not one to ask for money or help. I simply smile and power through however I find myself in a bind where I cannot do this alone financially. Any little bit helps. I am hopeful that with your support I will be granted some more happier times with Ethyl.
