Ethan Jayce

Ethan Jayce was born still on November 17th, 2016.

At our 20 week ultrasound appointment Ethan was diagnosed with Trisomy 13. The doctor informed us that his brain, heart, kidneys, bladder, and lungs were not developing properly and that he had multiple other abnormalities. We could see many of the abnormalities when he was born, but he was completely perfect in our eyes. He had the face of an angel. We named him Ethan Jayce because in Hebrew it means "strong healer". In the midst of all of our pain we know that Ethan is in the arms of Jesus, the greatest healer of all.

Although our son's life was cut way too short, we are determined to make the best of our situation. Instead of doing a memorial we would like to raise money for a charity called Hayden's Helping Hands . This charity helps parents with the medical expenses after the birth of a stillborn infant. The medical bills that come after the birth of a stillborn are a horrible and constant reminder of the child that never came home. On Christmas Day we would like to donate all the money we raise to Hayden's Helping Hands as a present to Ethan. We will be able to donate the money in memory of him and what a great way to remember him.
