To eternal city with love & charity

Twenty years ago I met a special girl at highschool and I fell in love...
One year later we started dating and sworn eternal love, nine years after that we got married and this year, on Valentine's day, I surprised her with a tenth anniversary trip to the eternal city of Rome, planned for the 23rd-25th may.
But she is reluctant to go because we have never left our our son and daughter before and the trip would still be a little expensive.
The collected funds would be used to pay the flights, airport transfers, a couple of nights at a local accommodation, meals, tourist passes for some sightseeing, a surprise gift and other minor costs.
But as we consider leaving our children for a couple of days for the first time, I believe that we should also make a difference supporting kids that are lacking a caring family or fighting against terrible diseases. So, all donations above the estimated goal will be shared with two charity organizations: one at our home city of Matosinhos, Portugal (Casa do Caminho , devoted to sheltering children at risk), and the other in Rome (Peter Pan Onlus , devoted to helping young children suffering with cancer).
So I turn to you: please help me take my eternal love to the eternal city... and hopefully we can make those kids eternally grateful!!!
