Caring for Kelly

On August 4th, 2017.... while recovering from a recent gall bladder surgery, Kelly returned to the hospital for extreme abdominal pains, for which she thought were complications from the surgery.
After being admitted, and undergoing a series of tests, it has been discovered that she has Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.
The reality of the situation is that this is indeed a life turning event. Aside from the fears of the unknown, she is faced with the trying to figure out how everyday life will resume, under the upcoming circumstances. She is a full-time caretaker to a wonderful person that suffers from a variety of medical issues and cannot be left to care for himself. She is also a valued employee at her full-time job. There is no doubt that her heart is completely involved in everything that she takes on. But it is inevitable that finances and impeded health during treatment are going to be affected in the near future.
Those of you that know her, knows that she brings the light, sound, love, and laughter with her wherever she goes. We are a small group of friends, that have vowed to stick by and help out in anyway that we can. But we need help.... rather it be a monetary donation, prayers, or well wishes.... we must see to it that she can afford to take this fight, while being in great spirits to get through it!
