Get Art and Help Nikki Get to MICA

For several years I have dreamed of attending the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). In early March my dream came true when I was accepted into MICA’s MFA in Studio Arts Low Residency program.

Because higher education costs have risen astronomically over the past 20 years, attending MICA will be a financial burden. I am an elementary school art teacher. Even with scholarships and student loans the costs of furthering my education so I can be a better teacher to young people is out of reach.

I am asking my friends and family to make a small donation that will help me attend MICA. These funds will be used to help pay tuition and fees.
