Mighty essequibo Expedition

My name is daniel Eggington I am 24 years old, and in the UK I am currently employed by an organisation that assists with homelessness, addiction and the part I work in is mainly youth work. I create educational workshops in topics of interest such as sports (popular). But a lot of conservational educational messages which again they genuinely enjoy.
The project as a whole is mainly an educational outlet where I aim to increase awareness of the Essequibo to people of all backgrounds,who have little knowledge and understanding of this part of the world, its biodiversity and culture. Guyana, having the largest land mass of rainforest (80% of the country) is home to millions of animals. As one of my biggest passions is animals I hope to photography, film and record as many species as I can which again will raise awareness of this beautiful country and the animals that inhabit it.
From indigenous communities to the environment in which they live, also with a conservational message. The project will be based in an extremely remote part of the world with minimal assistance, however, I am also trying to get keen explorers to come on this journey with me. As I believe it is the best form of learning , being interactive and immersive.
I will be documenting my daily routine with a number of professional media equipment which has been donated to me by companies such as BUSHNELL & HENNESSY HAMMOCK. As a means of capturing the most natural footage with the help from trap cameras to focal lenses. This project will also be documented on Inaturalist website and RGS due to its importance. I do however require more equipment to maximise my time spent in the area and to ensure I able to cover more ground with trap cameras.
The the main aim of my Go Fund Me profile Is to get the more harder to acquire things, such as more media equipment, logistics transport in-country also a number of courses which will again allow the project to run a lot smoother for example the far from help first aid.
The technology which will be paramount are things such as sat phones and allowances also a packraft, which again is essential for the completion of my intended project. I will also be cataloguing species I come across working in partnership with a company known as adventure sciences which are a worldwide scientific organisation. I myself am involved in this project here. Also part of the funds will go to the finish up of the project such as getting a number of education outlets from Ebooks to a small educational mini-series through the countless social media platforms these days.
My project begins early January 2017 and will run through to early 2018 where I hope to release the educational Ebooks.
If this total is raised I will be forever grateful and will offer any help in similar future projects from information, partners to details of my exact route. As well as the finished article in any form necessary.
Also, I ask people considering donating to think of the project and what it could achieve more awareness of the issues facing the continent and the small country of Guyana as well as its tradition, cultures and biologically intense region.
