On April 20th, Eskinder was fatally shot and was officially pronounced dead the following evening on April 21st at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

He was only 26.
.
Eskinder was taken from us entirely too soon. He is survived by his mother Nigisty and and only brother Daniel.
